Frankincense is very calming so another wonderful oil to have in your birthing bag. It is beneficial in the first stage of labour when the cervix is opening and thinning.
Another handy job for Frankincense is healing the perineum after birth if required.
HOW TO USE: Simply apply to pressure points (think wrists, belly, soles of feet). You can also use this as a massage oil as long as it’s diluted in a carrier oil. Rubbed on the lower back or stomach can be very comforting.
